| Antique Lace - there's nothing like it - and it is the reason behind our name. It all began one summer when Rosemary Bigelow, the owner of My Grandmother's Lace, wandered into a local shop selling antique linens and lace - and nothing has been the same since! Life long interests in antiques, design and sewing came together in an instant and this business was born. |
Butterfly Lace Collection
| This exquisite grouping is made of
antique Victorian embroidered net and trimmed with a new handmade Cluny lace with a butterfly motif. Embroidered net is most often found in the form of lace curtain panels. Most of our panels have their origin in England. Though the styling of these pillows has been standardized, each set will have a different lace pattern. The lace ranges in color from soft white to ivory and may be layered over a soft color to show off the lace patterns. (The pictured set was made over soft pink for a blush of color.) This grouping is available as a set or by the individual piece. |

Christening Ensemble This silk Christening dress is modeled after the vintage Christening dresses I found in England. My favorite dresses were long with a simple A-line shape and a lovely center panel. Our version is rendered in off white silk with an embroidered net antique lace panel in the center. To complete the ensemble we have added a sweet silk bonnet trimmed in lace and a soft batiste slip. |

Vintage Linen These lingerie bags are made from vintage linen, often found on our trips to England. Some have monograms, some have lace edging. Each is different. We will be glad to check for specific monograms, but we do not have monograms available. *LB1-VL - sample shown has hand crochet lace on damask.
